Hey Everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm failing at my own advice, but if you're a Founder or find your self working all day everyday, take time to switch off.

Given my #buildinpublic approach I wanted to talk about how I'm even falling into this trap (even if I know better).

The challenge is when you'e a small company taking time off means the business grinds to a haltโ€ฆ or so I thought.

It's no surprise then that I read stats like 72% of entrepreneurs are affected by mental health problems, compared to 48% of the general working population... ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

This reality reinforces why we Founders must prioritize taking a few days to rest & recharge - completely unplugged from phones and computers.

Here's how I'm failing at this RIGHT NOW ๐Ÿ‘‡

Itโ€™s my birthday this weekend ๐ŸŽ‰ and I'm on holiday with my family but I've had to make this a workcation as every day with Trigify.io is key until we have larger team in place to handle the demand we have.

So what have I done to ensure at least I get some R&R while on my workcation:

โ†’ Taking half days (Keeps the business going but allows for time off)
โ†’ Phones down and away when off.
โ†’ Trying to focus on being in the moment
โ†’ Trust in my team!

Anyway, don't do a me! Take the time to fully recharge, if you can, and if you can't keep grinding till you can.

My time will come for this โœŒ
